ABOUT GAYLE
Hi, I'm Gayle Dolgoy.
I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, especially when you’ve been carrying so much for so long. My hope is to make this feel a little easier — by offering a space where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood.

A calm and grounded approach
When we meet, my focus is on creating a calm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can simply be yourself. You don’t need to have the “right” words, or everything figured out, before coming to counselling.
I work with women and individuals navigating grief and loss, emotional overwhelm, burnout, identity loss, relationship strain, and major life transitions. My approach is warm and strengths-based — focused on helping you feel safe, connected, and understood.
Sessions are often described as a place to slow down, feel supported, and speak openly without fear of being judged or rushed.
HOW | WORK
Trauma-informed and person-centred
You set the pace
Counselling moves at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. Healing happens when we feel genuinely heard and emotionally safe.
You are the expert
My role isn’t to “fix” you, but to support, guide, and empower you as you make sense of your experiences and move toward change.
Practical and hopeful
Alongside emotional support, I offer tools to manage overwhelm, regulate emotions, and navigate transitions with greater steadiness.

Difficult experiences can shape you, but they don't have to define you. You don't have to navigate it all alone.
SUPPORTING WOMEN THROUGH CHANGE
Reconnecting with yourself
Much of my work supports women experiencing emotional exhaustion, burnout, identity loss, grief, or relationship difficulties. I understand the emotional load many women carry — and how easy it can become to lose connection with yourself while caring for others.
Counselling offers a space to slow down, reflect, and begin reconnecting with your needs, values, and sense of self.
