COUPLES COUNSELLING
Finding your way back to each other
When distance has crept in, or the same conversations keep going in circles, there is a way back to feeling connected and understood.
A calm space where you both feel heard
Relationships can become difficult when communication breaks down, emotional distance grows, or conflict starts to feel repetitive and exhausting. Many women come to couples counselling feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from their partner, or unsure how to move forward together.
Some feel emotionally alone within the relationship; others feel caught in patterns of hurt, withdrawal, defensiveness, or ongoing misunderstanding.
I offer couples counselling for women who want support to strengthen their relationship, rebuild emotional connection, and create healthier ways of communicating. I provide a calm, supportive, non-judgemental space where both people can feel heard, understood, and emotionally safe.

HOW I WORK WITH COUPLES
My approach is grounded in evidence-based therapies that support deeper understanding, emotional connection, and lasting change.
Gottman Method Couples Therapy
I am Level 1 certified in the Gottman Method, a research-based approach developed by Dr John and Julie Gottman after more than 40 years of studying relationships and couple dynamics.
Rather than focusing on blame, it helps couples understand the patterns creating disconnection — and learn practical ways to communicate, respond to conflict differently, and rebuild trust and emotional closeness. The work is both practical and relational.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
I also draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy, an evidence-based approach focused on strengthening the emotional bond between partners.
EFT helps couples understand the deeper emotions and attachment needs that often sit underneath conflict or withdrawal — so you can recognise these cycles with more compassion, communicate openly, and rebuild a stronger sense of safety and connection.

A supportive space to reconnect
Couples counselling can be space to slow down, better understand each other, and begin rebuilding connection during a difficult season.
Whether you're navigating communication difficulties, emotional disconnection, relationship strain, or shared life stress, I work alongside couples in a calm, grounded way — toward greater understanding, connection, and emotional closeness.
